Move these to mood boards when ready
I conducted a survey to determine the look and feel. To focus in on the best choice, I sought knowledge on both the mood boards and the color combinations. The questions related to Elliot's values, the design principles, and the problem statement. This ensured applicable and useful results. At the top of the survey, I stated the survey was anonymous. The intention was to match images and color combinations with words that felt the most appropriate.
MinuteClinic | Consolidating intranet features
Project goal: With the intranet being a platform with endless diverse opportunities, I created an affinity diagram that organized these endless possibilities. Next, I helped stakeholders narrow down the MVP product.
MinuteClinic | Consolidating behavioral health specialties
Project goal: Patients needed a way to easily filter through specialties to schedule with a mental health counselor fit for them. I delivered affinity mapping and recommendations for MinuteClinic to narrow down counselor specialities.
To collect the specialties, mental health counselors filled out a survey with a multi-select checkbox list of options and an open text field to list any other specialties. In the open text field, they were instructed to separate each specialty with a comma so they were put into a our system as their own specialty.
Because of this open forum, we found a lot of overlap. For example, one licensed therapist put stress, while another put stress related issues. One put trauma, PTSD. Another put trauma and PTSD. This meant that patient would need to filter by all of these similar specialities. The problem was that there were over 80 specialties.
I worked with a content strategist and a user researcher to group the categories. We were able narrow down the 80 different specialities into 13 groups!
